At White Sage, our roots grow deeply into the earth providing us with a firm foundation on which to stand. We reach high up to the sky continuously seeking guidance, wisdom and truth. We are constantly in practice to find our balance in order to provide you with the knowledge and compassion needed to achieve your own health, and well being.
Our foundation is strongly rooted in the eight limbs of Yoga and practicing compassion in all it’s forms.
Benefits of Massage
Massage increases circulation, stimulates the immune system, increases joint mobility, reduces stress and anxiety, can provide temporary and long term relief from musculoskeletal pain, improves body awareness, and can strengthen the mind-body connection. Massage stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which may increase the release of endorphins and serotonin, the feel good chemicals of the brain.
Most importantly, massage can help to assist the body into its rest and restore phase, increasing the body’s ability to heal itself and move toward homeostasis (it’s ideal state.)
